Lousy Food & Tea Restaurant

There had been long long time I don't blog anymore.
Very busy and tired working nowadays.
My friends seldom blog as well.

But there are a restaurant that really makes me want to blog about it.
It is a Hong Kong style restaurant name Food &Tea, in Chinese is 欢喜地。
This restaurant have many branch. I only went to the branch located in Seberang Prai and Tesco extra at cheras.
The branch that I want to complain is located at Tesco extra cheras.

Last Friday, I was on leave.
So happenly I went to place near by Tesco extra cheras.
I decided to take my lunch at Tesco Extra Cheras.
So I went in this FOOD & TEA RESTAURANT.

I chose this restaurant to take my lunch because it have least customer.
It's only about half of the shop occupied by customer.
I went in and order a promotion set.
The set I ordered got Cheese Chicken Chop Spaghetti, mushroom soup, gui ling gao and jasmine tea.

My drinks delivered very fast.
Ok.
Then after half an hour, my soup and my meal is not serve to me yet.
So I ask the waiter when you want to serve my soup to me?
He said he will checked.
Then my soup delivered on my table after 10 minutes.
When I look at my bowl of soup, I almost fainted.
They served me half bowl of soup after I waited for 40 minutes.
Before that, the shop only left occupied by customer 1/4.
OMG!!!

So I finished soup wait for another 10 minutes only they served me my meals.
After I finished, ask them to serve my gui ling gao I request for tissue paper.
From beginning till the end they never give me tissue paper. (unlike other hong kong style restaurant).
You know what they told me?

"Sorry miss, we don't provide tissue paper to our customer anymore.
We only served wet tissue with chargers."

Excuse me? You are the restaurant that charge for service charge but you don't provide tissue paper to your customer?
What a lousy restaurant.
NEVERMIND!!! I BRING MY OWN TISSUE PAPER. I CAN USE MINE!!!

When I'm ready to go, I asked for the bill.
Need to wait for another 10 minutes.
You know why? Because the waiter go to kitchen a while, then go to take menu a while, then go to serve food to other customer a while, then dunno go where a while....

By the way, there are only 2 waiters in the shop.
Fantastic rite?

I will not visit them again lor. So lousy.... Not pro at all.

The Yuck-iest Satay(Sate) that I ever ate

Satay or sate is a dish consisting of chunks or slices of dice-sized meat

(chicken, goat, mutton, beef, pork, etc.) 

on bamboo skewers 

(although the more authentic version uses skewers from the midrib of the coconut leaf). 

These are grilled or barbecued over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with various spicy seasonings (depends on satay recipe variants).

Satay in Melaka is quite famous (though is not as famous as Kajang).

Here I want to introduce one satay shop in Melaka.

This satay shop is so famous in Melaka that make the shop very crowded once.

The satay there although is very small, but very nice.

But now, the satay in this shop is no longer nice and delicious.

The meat is so dried and tasteless.

It is so hard to swallow.

My father only manage to eat 2 sticks.

I never ate such a so yucky and awful satay before although I order at a foodcourt.

The satay also very expensive.

One stick(chicken, pork and pick stomach) RM0.60.

Maybe you will said one stick RM0.60 not expensive what...

Kajang satay(chicken) also RM0.60 per stick.

And this shop satay is only half portion of Kajang Satay.

Besides, the drinks are so expensive.

One herbal tea RM1.30 in Melaka.

The herbal tea also tasteless one.

No herbal taste and and not sweet.

Plain water is even more easy to drink.

4 of us went there, we only ate 14 sticks satay.

Cost us RM19.80 in total bill with drinks.

The next day, me and sister went to eat satay at Dengkil.

My sister order 4 sticks chicken satay, 4 sticks mutton satay and 4 sticks of deer(rusa) satay.

It's only cost us RM13.70 in total bill with drink.

I will not visit Sun May Hiong Satay House anymore.

I won't bring my friend from outstation to visit there anymore too.

It is not worth the value.

Want to eat satay? Better go to Kajang.

If still want to eat in Melaka, anywhere but not this shop.

Tappers

after communication exam, jenna and hui teing asked me to yum cha

i got a bit hungry so i joined them

(normally i will reject one, haha)

then we decided to go to Tappers after walked the whole Jaya One

then we asked chee ming and eric to come as well

the chicken chop there is very special

they fried the chicken chop with egg as the skin

it is very delicious and crispy when it's still hot

unfortunately, we never take photo of the dishes...
